Sait Bey Konağı, bir Köyceğiz masalı
Sait Bey Konağı Köyceğiz'in karakteristik mimarisinden günümüze ulaşan, 1950'lerin ikinci yarısında inşa edilmiş, bölgesinin nadir örneklerinden biri.
2015 yılında restore edildi.
Yer yer çökmüş olan çatı ve baca olanaklar ölçüsünde aslına uygun olarak yenilendi.
Ahşap tavan, ikinci kat ahşap döşemeleri, ikinci kat oda kapıları korunmuş, zorunlu ilavelerin dışında özgün yapısına müdahale edilmemiştir.
Ev, 1950'lerden 1980'lere uzanan süreci hatırlatan dönem eşyalarıyla düzenlenmiş, ziyaretçilerine o dönem evlerinin iç düzeninin nasıl olduğu hakkında fikir verebilecek bir örnek oluşturmaya gayret edilmiştir.

The Tale of SAİT BEY KONAĞI in KÖYCEĞİZ
The Mansion ( SAİT BEY KONAĞI ) dating back to the early 1950s', is a rare example of the local building tradition prevailing in the region of Köyceğiz.
The restoration work on the Mansion was carried out in 2015.
The roofing structure which was partly collapsed together with chimneys were restored by complying with the preservation rules and regulations in force at the present time.
The wooden ceiling, second floor timber joists and second floor doors are left unchanged.
In principle, the wooden structure of the Mansion was preservered and restored, original internal components of the building are kept in place unchanged unless otherwise required.
The furnishing of the Mansion was completed using traditional house furnishings and objects from the era 1950 to 1980s'.
